Or buy a 10$ china machine and desolder and remove the sleeve.

I think you want 10mm ss tubing with an 8mm diameter and a 1mm wall. You can find that on eBay or a plumbing shop.

Good options as well. I have seen a similar fix mentioned once where the person posted something like "Commandeered a tunnel from the piercer at the shop"
