the ones from eikon last a good long time. Everything else I have bought has been a piece of shit.
i picked one up from radio shack that seems pretty snug for the most part was like $5.00
I bought an RCA from Needlejig before they had different options (it was the $12 orange cable one), and it sucked. Connection wasn't good, would slip off, and certain angles caused fluctuations in power. I then purchased one from eikon with silicon wire and it has been nothing short of perfect. Nice, snug connection without any "angle issues" like the other one had. I haven't tried Needlejig's "in house premium" cord yet, its probably much better, but I don't know.
Since it has been working great for me, I'd def recommend the ones from eikon.
The ones from Eikon are really durable never had a problem with them. Not sure if Lucky Supply makes RCA cords I have a clipcord from them that seems undestroyable.
yeah that radio shack one will last you a month if your lucky. Spend the extra dough and get the one from eikon.
I use the radio shack gold plated ones, in fact my whole shop does. I think they work great. we have all been using them for a while now with out any problems.
can't=finished by end of today, impossible=finished by end of week, out of your mind=already finished
I got a good RCA cable from Swissmachine, it's very thin and resistant. It's expensive, but it's worth it.
Roman from HM makes a nice one too, really snug fit.
I also am dabbling in making RCA cables. I have sent the test unit to Wildboy. Maybe he will tell everyone what he thinks when he gets it in the next day or two. The ones I am making have an emphasis on heavy duty as well as tight fit.
