    Noisy hawk.

    3 of us one the shop own a hawk. both my colleges hawks, started out very silent. but are now much louder, don't know if theres any difference in how they run an work. any body knows maybe why?

    Could you describe the noise? Is it grindy? Or where abouts in the machine is it coming from and does it create any vibration with it or affect the operation of it?

    Its a changeing noise. sometimes they are all silent, and sometimes they start being lousy? Maybe a bit grindy don't know?

    I don't know about the Hawk, but from what you describe ,it sounds like a dodgy bearing-send it back.

    Pretty sure they have a 2 year warranty. Thats what the Cheyenne rep told me this weekend anyways.
