New to these rotary contraptions

Hello all, been lurking for a bit and thought it only polite to introduce myself, know a few names on here but theres plenty ive yet to meet

Im a slighty grumpy nearly 44 year old from the UK just getting to the end of my first year as a professional , albeit i only work on Saturdays so am still very much a novice. Those of you that know me will know im very much a coil kind of chap (understatement im sure!) but have just invested in a Nedz (long stroke was too long for me but have just changed to medium and am sure i will get on fine with it) and am looking forward to sharing my non coil experiences with you all. So once again a big HELLO

Welcome. Only one year as a professional, and in your 40s. Kudos to you to start at any age. Did you do it as a non professional before? Did you do an apprenticeship? Or just jump in feet first a year ago? Sorry for all the questions. I'm just curious, please don't take my questions the wrong way. It's a nice forum here, I think will enjoy it. Lots of good information.

All questions are good! I started to teach myself to tattoo about 11 years ago (if my memory is right) was quickly crushed by the local "pro" and that was that ( a lot more was involved but thats the sum of it) fast forward a few years and i get this urge again , have always been a keen artist an felt this was a great medium to show off my work. long story short ..put some work online and was given a place in a studio , bloody lucky i know and ive got so much to learn. Every piece i do is shite in my eyes and i get so bloody frustrated but strive on as best i can

Sounds like you have a good attitude. I wish you the best of luck. I am on my phone so I couldn't view your work ( no flash support ), but when you are more comfortable I hope you will post some things on here for critique.
