welcome. i started out of the house at 30 yrs old and gave myself a shitty apprenticeship for 3 1/2 yrs and i've now been tattooing pro for 4 yrs. not everyone is lucky enough to have someone show them the right way to do things. i used flats for the 1st yr...ugh.
you seem to have a great attitude and i too am my own worse critic. there is always something i don't like about a tattoo i've done. it's nice to see someone new come post a link to their work. i wish more people on here would upload pics of their work so we know what kind of advise we are getting on critiques, needles, etc.
you don't even need a rotary to be a member on here and there are plenty of coil users on here that would love to talk about coils with you too.
