so i just got an email from Samyo at swashdrive and this is the news that got me excited this morning:
We have a new linear slid coming out next week ... it is a brother to the Whip ... as for a Gen 8 ...yes there is some prototyping going on at the moment .... it is a little slower as we have the Slide coming out ... it may be available later in the year but it depends on how the testing goes ...
We also have a power supply about t go into the testing phasso stay tuned

yea the slide was leaked but the power unit and the new gen 8 possibilities are what made me smile
I'm a swash nerd though.lol

Swashdrive 6's were my first rotary, made me an instant convert
They are great machines indeed.
I email them a few weeks ago about the metal body gen 7's and was told they might have a couple left...
