    Thumbs up Just Got a Rapier 2

    I also just got the rapier 2, i have to say its the best machine I have ever used. here some pics of the 2 I have done since getting the machine. Both tattoos done with the Rapier 2, the bride i used a 15 bugpin mag and the dorothy I used a 9 bugpin mag

    Did both those tattoo running at alittle over 4.5 volts the entire time, and a correction on the needle for the bride tattoo was a 17 bugpin not a 15. These machines are great, anyone wondering about them can rest assure thats its money well spent.

    I think the Bride grabs me more because of the color choices - the teal vibrates really nice off of the warm green in her eyes. I think if the yellow in Dorothy's hair had some purple or dark blue to bounce off of, that would grab me equally.

    Cary makes some awesome machines. I have his Blunderbuss, and want to get a Rapier 2 eventually. I think they are some of the easiest machines to line with. Feels SO similar to a coil. Anyone wanting to switch over completely to rotaries may want to add one to their arsenal.
