You could probably take your machine to a laser engraver in a mall. I used to get custom engravings on tie clips. Shouldn't cost to much either.

There is a company in toronto that will do a phone for $30 so a machine would not be much more. The laser engraving is very durable particularly on stainless steel and aluminum.

and these types of frame are good for laser engraving, it'll burn right through the black, as you see above. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
