    Hola! From Tejas.

    Hello All,

My name is Paul Murray, Seawall Paul to some.

I own and operate http://www.20thsttattoo.com in the Historic District of Galveston Texas.

I've been tattooing since the early, squirrely 90's.

    Glad to be here!

Great to have you Paul! I have been to the state of Texas probably a half dozen times, but only ever to Dallas. I will need to plan to see more of your great big state soon! Glad to see someone posting on the forum who uses one of Mike's machines, how do you like it?

Hi Paul! Welcome! Galveston, eh? I was only there briefly. Got to check out the Gulf, and the Bishop's Mansion. That's considered part of the historic area, I might guess?

Thanks for the warm welcome. My shops by the "strand" and the cruise terminal, this Texas's original port town, pre dates Houston. Hurricane Ike put a great deal of the whole Island under water 2 years ago, That was a real trip.

I use Metaxa's machine quite a bit for very detailed lining and black and grey mostly, swashdrives for about everything else, I still break out the coils, but not so much, really only for heavy lining.

I have 3 n2's and one of the ls neumas, but i really havnt used em that much, I recently relocated so maybe i'll get another compressor set up and give em a go again. (compressors don't do well in floods).

Yea rotarys are great for fineline try a neo tat-super finelines as it has the needle clip and a very well balanced cam/slider setup. Easy to keep clean to.
