Hello all
Hello everyone, My name is Cary Brief, I have been tattooing since the late 1980's. I started building tattoo machines about as soon as I started tattooing, first out of old silver spoons with hand wrapped coils. Over the years I graduated to CNC machining centers and made machine frames and machines for lots of companies. I made a line of machines that were milled out of solid steel, aluminum and brass. I went into semi-retirement due to a bunch of back and neck surgeries and being in more pain then my clients.
I got interested recently in rotaries because due to my health issues, weight of a machine is important, I was used to working with really heavy machines, just the way I liked em, but now that just doesn't work for me so want to learn about them, how they work, how they tattoo compared to the coil machines, etc. As a machinist and a tinkerer the idea of a new nut to crack and play with is exciting too. So looking forward to it. Thanks all.
