Have you designed a needletensioner for it Sage? I'll be wanting one ,I've ordered green too, with a 3.6 stroke.

All that needle tensioner mullarky aint needed Peter....needle alignment and tension works perfect on the spektra...them ugly tensioners are alright on dragonflys and stigmas (but not needed) But the spektra has sleek lines that dont need clutter adding too! ha ha....Perfect rubber bands can be bought from hairstyling stockist as they are used for dreadlocks etc....Perfect uncluttered bands that do the job...I dont miss needle tensioners...But each to their own!

That was why I decided not to do a tensioner, they are nice and novelty but I like the clean line of the machine.
Any rubber band works. Just double them if you can't find the small ones. We will have the rubber ands on the site for sale. Use it and dispose it. Although those tensioners that Sage makes are cool looking. Would love to see what he can come up with

I'm not at the shop to take a close up pic but here's my collection pic and there it is in the upper left corner. I've used it with it all week and it's precise. I like Tensioners because the rollers have less effect on the vertical motion of the needle and they help keep the bag from touching the works. This tensioner is a bit tall because I stole it off my rotangi but it works fine for it for now til I finish making the new batch...
