The small rubber bands work soo well though. No real need.

We tested several tensioner options. We saw the best performance with rubber bands. The machine was tested by several artists and the go was "no tensioner"
Everyone liked the performance and look of the machine when a tensioner wasn't present.

Even though the machine can be autoclaved and sterilized a lot of people will not do that and that tensioner knob will be touch every time the machine is broken down after each tattoo. We may release a removable tensioner if the demand increases but so far everyone loves the little rubber bands.

I dig your tensioner Sage and would love to try it.

Haven't figured a good way to put one on it without it looking hack. I was going to make one but since Mike is making ones soon for it I'm just waiting for those...

Lined a nice big tribal with an 8round and the rubber band the other day and it worked excellent, I didnt notice any difference other than possibly requiring a bit more voltage. Ive been loving the Halo, there isn't very much I'd ever want changed on this machine

IMG_20120704_144211.jpg did this with my spektra 2.8mm and Cheyenne cartridges. Really swollen and wonky this is tiny and in the ditch of her arm.
