The small rubber bands work soo well though. No real need.

We tested several tensioner options. We saw the best performance with rubber bands. The machine was tested by several artists and the go was "no tensioner"
Everyone liked the performance and look of the machine when a tensioner wasn't present.

Even though the machine can be autoclaved and sterilized a lot of people will not do that and that tensioner knob will be touch every time the machine is broken down after each tattoo. We may release a removable tensioner if the demand increases but so far everyone loves the little rubber bands.

I dig your tensioner Sage and would love to try it.
