I've hoping to have to my first run of rota-mag style machines made fairly soon, 6months or so, the designs are about to be mapped in CAD. Ive been working on these for a while in secret, ive only shown a few people the designs and protos. Anyways one version is a slingshot armature style somewhat like the SpecTech Axis, and the other is a compact slider, both use repulsive magnetic force, adjustable stroke length and positioning of magnets, and adjustable duty cycle. My reasoning for wanting to use magnetic repulsion is that the most power will be in the beginning of the stroke and will ease up at depth. I think that will create less trauma as long as the power is balanced. One nice thing about this concept is that force can be adjusted by number and placement of the magnets and voltage only changes the speed.
