    spectra halo

i'm gonna pre-order one of these right now.
just having a little trouble deciding on what stroke.
right now i use my neo-tat vivace 3.5 stroke for color work and shading so i'm guessing the 3.6mm motor bolt would work best for me???
sometimes i wish i could work a little faster so i wanna give the 3.2mm a try.

just wondering if any of you guys can shoot some quick advice and maybe save me some time and money.

also, it's kinda weird that they have a deal on 2 bodies and one motor bolt.
I would like a deal on 1 body and two motorbolts to switch out.
like go from a 2mm stroke to a 3.6mm stroke by switching bolts and using the same body....makes sense no?
why would you need 2 bodies and only one bolt?

anyways...i wanna order like right now but i'm gonna wait a day to hopefully get some advice here by people that are using them.

    thanks,
    chris

I have the 3.2 and it kicks ass for everything. Lining, packing and shading. I figured it might be a touch short because I usually like 3.5 or so. But I was wrong. It's perfect. Trying to save up for another body myself.

the motorbolt determines the throw not the bodies.. So to have two different strokes ya need 2 motor bolts.. Or at lease 2 berrings and swap the berring on the 1 motorbolt.

3.2 is an all terrain. It's basically all I use.
Here is my take on all the available strokes:

2.5mm: great for black and grey, color blending.
3.2mm: great for grey color and also lining
3.6mm: Awesome liner and color packer
4.0mm: color pounder, also great liner for bigger rounds.

We haven't sold two motors and one body to anyone yet but something to consider. The reasoning behind or packages is that it makes sense to get two bodies and one MotorBolt since you can run two machines (two needle setups with one motor) We also have a 3 Machine body deal.

I only use one motor that remains plugged and bag. We don't have deal in motors as we are basically giving the motors away when you ad up the cost of the Maxon motor, the cnc machine body, stroke wheel, bearing, hardware and labor.

you can always buy one machine and then get the different stroke wheels they are $25 a piece and supper easy to change i have 2 machines and all of wheels so i can change them out and use whatever i want.
