Got the Ego and ran it...
Pros.. Price is good, linear motion is good and the machine performs well.. low vibration.. love the rubber band side holders.. cool name
Cons.. plastic frame, Plastic vice grip that has a metal screw that has to remain untightened, so you can't tighten it very well. The nipple is not secure inside the head unit so it all comes out every time you change a needle... very problematic.

Overall I am sending mine back for a refund.
If Bez would have used a aluminum frame with a proper vise and secured the nipple inside the unit it would be a rock solid machine at the right price and still would have weighed almost the same.

I think the design is flawed but they do perform well. So many artists criticising the vice. All Bez had to do was mould it to take a nut rather than a screw and it wouldn't be an issue. Seems glaringly simple to me? Strange how something like that wasn't improved on in testing?
