Yes as Gaston mentioned, Removing the spring on most rotary machines will allow more power to push the TTECH system. Reason is you don't need a spring when using the TTECH cartridges as the rubber band in the cartridge acts like a spring, so using a spring plus a TTECH cartridge will work twice as hard against the motor and its designated torque. Just my 2 cents
