    hello everybody can someone help me i have a neo tatt machine i used it first time rotary..and see what is a good volts to start it out on color and bng..thank you very much

    Take a look at the Neotat website, click on one of the operation manual links and then scroll to page 11; you'll see a section that talks about the running speed of the machine. Obviously it all depends on what you are using the machine for and how you tattoo but that's a pretty good starting point...

    Also check the threads under "Coloring with a Rotary" and "Black and Grey With a Rotary". Most people will post what volts they used with what machines. You can also type "neotat" into the 'advanced search' bar near the top of your screen and see posts containing neotat.

    It will also depend on the power supply you have too. If it runs a lot of amperage you may be running it a volt or two lower than what someone else on here is. Alie should post her explanation of the whip test I have overheard explained before to sort out approximate starting points for power vs your regular hand speed.

    I start all of my neotats around 8 volts and work my way up or down from there.

    Hi, i have a neotat long stroke and i do most of my lining around 8.5-9 volts ( 5RL , 7RL) ,and black and grey shading around 8-8.5volts. (7RM-11RM) hope that helps.

    and also i am using the eikon EMS300, so it might be different volts on your power supply wheelyum! and welcome to the forum!!
