Get your old pens working again- tip

This isn't earth shattering tattoo info or anything, just thought it might be helpful. Say you used a nice new pen on someone, and now it doesn't work? Or you have an old pen that seems dried up? This was bugging me so I got a lighter, and put the tip of the pen in the flame for two seconds, then immediately scribble amap to get ink flowing.
Yet to see this fail =]

Heat expands the metal tips. Ink gets thinner.

Plus the pen prolly stops working cause there is bits of people's skin and oil and nasty bits all up in it.
