could i use a DK mini crank set to line to color pack

Could i without changing the stroke length? I typically use the coil machine i line with for my round shaders. I just bought a dk mini cranker and having him set it up to line with and just messaged him about a DD and another cranker for b&g. If I can cut a machine out there that would be awesome. saving 300$ would let me buy something else fun.

These will be my first rotaries. been using coils since i started.
    Thanks!!

There is also a video so you can learn how to adjust the stroke.

What sort of lines are we talking about? I have two crankers, one @ 4.5 ,superb for thicker lines and color packing, 3.5 for thinner lines and this will also color well, but in ideal places, side of calf etc. I have one of Dans' mini direct drives coming, can't wait to play with that.

I have two minicrankers and I use them to line and color both are set at 4mm I believe. I dont mess with them for black and grey through. I suppose I could but I have other machines that I like more for them.

You can do B&G with the cranker, just set it up with a short stroke, i.e 2.5mm.
