Me personally I did like the old Rapier design a lot better...

I think cary was going with performance and a machine the is easy to keep clean as compared to others-your health dept would love this machine as it does not have any nooks and crannies to try to keep clean-also you can pull the motor and autoclave the frames,internals. Customers love a clean simple looking tool to be used on them. lol beat up rust buckets are out

Performance is 90%, BUT this machine would greatly benefit aestheticly from some good engraving,and then maybe something like a copper finish,it would look totally different.

I actually like the way it looks....but looks aren't where it's at for me. Really like the red, can't wait to get to know that machine right there!

You can get them in any color you want. I'm a mechanic and I like the mechanical look of tools. I was going for the tool look of a power tool.

Now that you mention it, it does have a "Snap on" toolbox look to it.
