So I have been tweeking with this thing and it's a scary hard hitting rotary! But you can soften up the hit alot. First I tried it on some lettering on the arm and it put in a very clean line but with it being so different I was nervous to continue with the rest. So now I have it set up for soft shading and ran it on my shin bone with a&d and green soap and it
was very soft I felt more soft impact than sharp stinging. I need to mess with the settings more before actually doing a piece with it.

So I called John a few days ago and talked about how the adjustments work and what volts the machine runs at. So I set up a 13mag and started to adjust it. Next day go into work and it's slow so I asked my homie if I could try it out on him he has some traditional on his arm and flames that needed to be colored in so we bang in a small area with this rotary and it is the best machine I have ever used for color hands down! It feels awesome in the hand weight was not a issue. I used a 7mag, Fusion ink, and ran it at 7.6 volts. I feel this rotary can do it all and is 1000 times better than my whip. this machine can color pack and blend with great results very quickly. Out of 10 stars I give it 15 stars for color work. It's that bad ass! here's a pic of the section we worked on today.2012-11-29 14.38.50-1.jpg

ill be sure and try mine for some shading, i used it for heavy line work. but since it easy to soften/harden the hit i can go ahead and alternate it as a liner.shader...looks good killum...

It's no surprise that Johns' machine is a winner, he is a master builder who leaves no stones unturned.

I love mine fore loose 9 lining. Fast as shit and hit is solid as fuck. Its one of those machines you can get to do anything if youre willing to take some time and play with the adjustments. Its defiantly not a change on the fly kinda thing. At least not on the one I got, #5.

Your right. It took me almost 2 weeks of fuckin with it before I felt comfortable. Has anyone else tried this machine other than a liner?

Not sure? Weight is not a problem for me. It's machined out of aluminum so it can't be that heavy.
