Used mine today, tuned it for a color packer and it is a great running machine. Think I have a new favorite.
I got mine today. I played around with settings for a bit until it felt good. When I set it up with a tube, needle, and rubber band it didn't run very well anymore.
I imagine I'll have to make the adjustments with a load on it.
Any tips from others who have already done this? Do I need a different size rubberband or is there a good way to make a standard size work?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Johnny
I use 3 bands, standard size I use on everything. You should always adjust a machine under load. This thing just takes some playing with to get it to where it feels right for you. But once its there its a beast.
I run mine at 10 volts for big group lining.
Alright guys here is two pieces I did with Johns machine.
