Hawk - best performer for what ???

Guys I've just got hold of an original hawk and I've searched to see what they do the best - line, colour or B&G
Who's got them and what do you use them for mostly ?

I ideally what to use it for B&G and colour work.
I'm not really looking to line with it much.

    Thanks.

I personally, liked it better for black and grey , just because the trow was fairly short. and highlights. colored well too. not a big fan of the lining.

I used mine for every thing. Lining wasn't a problem, I find it a tool for every job

Used mine for everything. Great machine. But prone to hangups if you push with lining.

Also used mine for everything. Solid performer. A few needle snags here and there but nothing to bad to really complain about. It packs color better than anything I've tried as far as rotaries
being an artist is about feeling completely inadequate...and then getting the fuck over it. self revelation

Have to say for black / gray - this thing is smooth ....... This is today's effort, silverback XXX black only, grey wash session next to smooth.
First session of a WW2 sleeve.
