I'm probably one of the only guys who actually prefers no return spring, it just makes it that much easier to check and adjust my needle float during setup.

Very nice, I've yet to try any of my crankers at a short stroke for B&G, are you liking it?

its actually awesome. At first i tried running it slower for B&G and hated it so i talked to dan and he said run it around 7 (which is what I run both of my machines at now) and i have been using it with needlejig bugpin round mags and yeah i like it alot. I dont do a ton of black and grey and I actually tried it out with some color I love it for softer blended colorwork. I dont think it would go over incredibly well for straight up single shade packing but its really a lovely machine. Id love to have like 10 more. Someday

ive used my MC-13 a few times already it is AMAZING!Dan sent it to me with a 3.3mm stroke for shading/coloring and it is an absolute pleasure to use..going from my Bishop to the MC-13 at 3.3mm took zero time for me to get used to it..Also the MC-13 is a tad lighter than the original Cranker.On the scale I had 3.9oz for the MC-13 and the og Mini Cranker was 4.3oz..the tube vice is great too,my disposables and s.s fit perfectly and tighten with barely any force on the wingnut..the other thing is the MC-13 is definitly a little quieter and smoother too..the new pivot set up with the bearings makes it run really smooth..I wasnt sure how much better Dan was able to get the Mini Crankers but he DEFINITLY did take it up a notch with the MC-13..
