    Dan Kubin Mini Crankers

IMG_2811.jpgIMG_2823.jpgIMG_2825.jpgIMG_2828.jpg Here are my 2 Dk Mini Crankers..The Mercedes Blue w/Laser Copper is the new MC-13 and the Mint Green w/Matte Black is #67 of the original..These are amazing little machines and look so darn cool..The Mint Green is at a 4mm stroke and mostly used as a liner..The MC-13(blue) is set up at a 3.3mm stroke for shading and color blending.I must say it is a little quieter and smoother than the original Cranker. The bearings in the pivot set up make for a smoother motion..All the upgrades are really awesome and very functional..The new vice seems great and more disposable friendly..The new Dial on the flywheel makes adjusting the stroke to the proper length much easier than before..I know there are a good amout of Mini Cranker users on here and everybody has different color combos so lets see your Dan Kubin machines!!post some pictures!Pinkfro had a good idea with a "show me your Cranker thread" so here it is..Post a pic of any DK machine you have!

Hey Casey can you still run a clip cord on it with the RCA conversion? I love RCA but I can't seem to find a cord that holds up more than a month or two and its back to a clippy.

Can run both rca and clippy on these mate, very easy conversion. Have just made some heavy duty cables utilizing guitar cable and some nakamichi rca's with a decent cable clamp for myself and the other lads at the studio to test out, will let you know how they get on

I love mine too Paul. Just got a new adjustable cranker off Dan, set at 5mm. Puts solid big group lines in with ease. Never thought i'd make the switch to lining fully with a rotary, but the Soba Pilot is getting used less and less nowadys. Got one of Dans mini direct drives too, and that machine is a monster for colour. Heres my babies the heat treated machine was a trade from Skinmech.DSCF0877 (Small).JPG
