swashdrive g6 swashplate height qiestion
Hey everyone. I recently got a swashdrive g6 in a trade. It runs well. I have heard that if you raise the height of the swashplate on the spindle it will shorten the stroke. I tried it and it worked. It also made the machine run much quieter. The question I have is how high is too high. I pushed the swash assembly up pretty good. I feel like it may be putting more of a load on the motor because of the increased tension. I put it back to the way it came originally, and its a bit louder and the stroke is now longer. Will raising the swash assembly on the spindle burn up the motor? If anyone has tried this please let me know your experiences

Move till you get a slightly shorter and smoother stoke and stop there -find the sweet spot. if you go to much ether way its the same thing- more load on the motor as it puts it an extreme angle.

Thank you. I'll find that sweet spot tomorrow.
