I cant wait for the adjustables to come out in a couple weeks, I'm gonna order a pair. I sold my original Impact right before xmas to help with funding gifts and I really do miss that thing. Its the one machine I regretted having to sell. I'm so stoked to finally see this forum turning around on these machines, and people really educating themselves on what they really are and not just assuming anymore, or taking sides based on the bad blood between the 2 builders and not on the machines themselves. Great job SlickSteel!!

yea they are such well made machines-all the parts really sync right-they are made to run how a linear should for sure -hard slides work great.

yep both will be great-if you get the hard slide(which works great and less to lose) and dont like it he will swap it for you to the new one.

Do you prefer the bored out thumb screw? Or the forward weight of the solid thumbscrew?
