My Impact 3.5 works like a dream shade color packs and lines super. If any of you love the Bishop, the Impact is an up grade- tighter smoother and more powerful. I still have my great blue Bishop that works like a charm, although I think she is neglected lately. And I'm getting my second Impact, but this one is a 4.2.

I'm scheduled for surgery and was told NOT to tattoo so I've only done a little bit with mine. Yeah, yeah it was too shiny for me to behave fully LOL! However, so far I'm super impressed: its very quiet, virtually vibration free (super important to me as I have nerve damage) and has a ton of punch even at low volts.

Yea thats one of the many things I liked about them you can turn it down slow if you have a granny hand or want to do whips or certain needle texture effects etc. and it dont stall out or lose power like a lot of rotaries do.
    good luck on your surgery!

Man i have to agree with slicksteel , i got my impact today and the quality is amazing. There is zero left to right movement in the slide that is attributed the that loud as noise and vibration other derlin slide machines make. I took the back off and was amazed at the quality of this machine everything is so tight and so well put together its quite remarkable to say the least. Also the main advantage to this machine compare to other slides is there are no set screws holding the motor in place. I noticed on the other 2 big name slide machines that there sound changes depending on how much u tighten the set scres. None of that with the Impact. the motor is set so securely it seems it cant be moved. Also the back plate is a circuit board its crazynesss. super high tech machine. Thanks todd
