Just received Stigma Fly but can't figure out why it's not working??

I have an RCA setup running off an Instek power supply - everything else i use on it (coils. G7's) works flawlessly - I hooked up the Fly to it and it doesn't run. There is an obscure little paragraph on their insert that says "If your machine does not run by the RCA then switch the wires on your power supply or on the RCA cord"
    Huh?
I have no idea what that means, I just got it so maybe I'll figure it out.
BTW just tried it and it seems to run fine if I use a clipcord off my EMS 300 but NOT the RCA on either PSU??

The polarity might be in reverse?

hmm not sure how to reverse polarity on an RCA setup because it's one connection. I've tried 3 different RCA cords too....frustrating.

Yeah soldered inside but on the outside it's just one and they're straight from Eikon so unless they screwed up it's weird.
OK I found one cord that works! Can't wait to try it now
Thanks for your help - I'll figure out the cord situation later....

If you are using banana plugs into your Instek swap them over.

If you are using the instek you should be able to just reverse the banana plugs on the power supply. Where you have the red to red and the black to black, just go red to black and black to red. If you have one of the twin banana plug assemblies that plugs into the PS, just turn it upside down and plug in.

Now, you say that the clip cord works.....can you reverse the clipcord " flip it upside down" and make it run? if it runs reversed, then I would think there is a problem with the machine' s internal wiring....things happen. If it does not run reversed, then you can try the " flipping the banana plugs" thing I suggested.

Holy **** thanks thanks thanks - it's always something so simple that drives me bananas (pun intended).
I did as you suggested, turned it upside down and it works! Whew.
