    Rotary Works I.D.

I was wondering how and or were you are supposed to place the rubber bands on this I.D?
Did no one think to include a way to use rubber bands?
How do you hold the needle back against the tube while tattooing with it?
The motor arm rubs against the rubber bands and shreds em.
Perhaps in the future it would be wise to add some side holders like the halo or ego...
what do you RW users do?

^^^^^ what he said.. id contact dale via facebook message and ask him what he thinks is best. I also just tried some needle runners and like them for DD's and THe RW but rubberbands worked just as well.

This sounds like sound logic, however the Vaseline will start to break down the rubber band an can cause it to break as well. So if you replace your rubber bands after every tattoo ( you should ) then it shouldn't be an issue.

First time I came across this issue on the ID...However, seems like all the common sense fixes have been suggested.

Couple of pics to show my set up when using the I.D machine, I've never had a problem with bands breaking tho....just to say there is NO machine bag or clip cord cover so that the band set up can be seen clearly....cheersphoto (5).jpgphoto (4).jpg

this is the second very sound machine you've had trouble with in like a week homie. Maybe it's not the machines. The comments about the ego and saying it would be wise to modify this and that on the ID? Not trying to be callous here but these guys put a lot of hard work into these machines. If you have to ask about elastics, I mean really? that's just common sense man. Try thicker elastics like from lucky, move your placement of the bands or maybe you should build your own so you can finally get it right for you. Mick-
