Just posted a short video on Facebook, taken with my Iphone.

    Noise level is 78 decibels
    Normal coil machine 98 decibels

    Comments please.

Noise levels seems a bit high compared to my HAWK Thunder, but lets see how it is in real life, when tattooing with it, looking forward to trying it and the different motors, and see how it stacks up against the Thunder

The noise is a lot more than the hawk as its got more moving parts which add to the noise but its not louder that a tradional coil machine.
    MR05Grip copy.jpg

Here the grip for the MR05 which will take T-Tech and Hawk cartridges and fit your standard coil or rotary machine the black part of the grip fits the MR03 aswell.

Looks cool that parts from the MR03 and MR05 are compatible, too bad about the noise, just gotten used to the "no noise" Hawk, how are vibrations compared to other rotary's and the Hawk ?

Does it have some sort of dampening / give and is that also some of the reason for the noise ?

I know I am a bit obsessed with the whole noise / vibration thing, but coming from coils that was one of the main reasons for going the rotary route in the first place and when you have gotten used to noise less and vibration free tools, well then you tend to focus a bit more on those things than most , I guess

Well I am looking forward to trying it out, got a big black'n'grey shoulder piece coming up this Friday, so with a bit of luck I might get it just in time for that, keeping my fingers crossed

I am aware that noise is an issue with most users I will address it as thing I get feed back as always. I will be adding a nitrile washer to the disc that you can see in the picture I am hoping this will do to things first deaden the noise slightly and secondly provide some give. I will then supply several densities of washer so you can choose the amount of give you want in the machine.

I intend to redisign all of my machines in the next few months so that you can choose the motor you want and then just buy the front end and fit them together. You will have a choice of 4 motors, 2 German 7.2 volts and 2 Swiss 12 volts running from 21,000 rpm to 8,500.

It's not the noisiest rotary I have enet heard..... I don't mind a small amount of noise. These iPhones really make machines louder than the really are..... I have one of these coming, and pleased your taking time to make sure the zillion parts for each order are all ready. So thank you!!!!

i really want to hear it once it comes in contact to skin.... Or some resistance... And also the sound between each motor.... Do they sound different? What's the sound difference between 4.5 volts to say... 6volts?

when will the 12 volt Swiss motors be available?

ill definately order some more cams, will probably pick up a Swiss motor at the same time once they are ready.

this looks like a very keen tool, I look forward to using, and finding a everyday purpose for!!!
will be my first time using cartridges...... Looking forward to having extra room on my clean field.
And having a new convention buddy

    looks good!!!
