Sorry I didn't see this post til now, otherwise I would have responded immediately. I own two of these and Travis has one. We love them. I can tell you that I have stopped looking for a lining machine. These things line like a sharpie. Literally, any size grouping with ease. The give system works great, very versatile.

Two gripes: the tube vise is not the best design. And secondly, these are noisier end of the spectrum. Not as loud as a coil, but louder than a mini-Cranker (which I consider to be middle of the road in terms of noise).

I have one and Love it. Its worth the extra cash for the upgraded motor. A bit noisey but they also have a new slide that may have reduced that.

I reduced the noise and made it run at lower voltages by following his recommendations and lubing it a bit more.

Honestly can't remember what exactly. Just used the lube that came with it and made sure to use more lube on the slider. I like my machines runnign slow and found it best for packing and lining. Wish there was a 12v motor

I got an upgraded one. It's a little quieter, runs at lower speeds and I love it. It's still got that punch even when you run it real slow....Which how I like to run them also. Big fat lines...Packs like a beast and whip shades nicely.
