I used the II and it was awesome but loud. My understanding is that the III is the same but much quieter. So I can only assume that it is an amazing machine. I loved the II and would have kept it if it was quieter.

    These are very cool machines..
With a little tweak on the give nob and volts , you can run it almost silent .. Or you can open up the give and it will sound like a coil. But opening up the give makes It feel flexible rather than soft ... It's a very interesting machine .. I use it every day. I don't think I lined with it yet but I think it's best with fill color and blending .
If you weren't crazy about the prodigy , you might not like it though..

Prodigy was a good machine... I just wanted a halo instead... way better machine... and zero side to side sway

The specifics are super nice machines. The V2 is kinda loud, and, yeah, can be almost as loud as a coil with the give opened up, but the v3, even with the give opened all the way is much quieter. Really great machines, and the only rotaries i have tried with give that felt right to me. The give system is different than the prodigy. I loved mine for black and grey.

The give system is unique .. And feels different from any other machine I used.
I did some black and gray shading with it and it worked great.

i have one of the first ones - no give know, and I have to say - really smooth machine. Great for smooth blends and GREAT for balck and grey.
