Same price as the original Rapier 2. The stroke is changed by moving the connecting rod screw to a different threaded hole in the front of the crank. I am putting flats on the sides of the crank so you can hold it like a nut while removing the screw and moving it. It works like the Rapier 1. It sure is'nt 400.00 t0 600.00 dollars like some others. I machine every piece except screws, bearing, and RCA jack in house. You charge 100.00 to 125.00 an hour for tattooing, put yourself in my shoes. What would you charge for a 5 hour tattoo? That's how long it takes to machine the frame alone.

Don't feed the cheapsters Cary. That's an awesome price on a great, time proven design. Thanks for all you do man.

I agree, cary makes a solid effective product that delivers every time at a good price point..when there are others out making machines that have allot more cons than pro's and asking 500.00 and up! i for one would love to try one just as soon as i can gather some extra milk money

Doh, this was supposed to be a response to the "too expencive" guy. It would take 3 hours for this machine to pay for itself.... this dude made the comment to buy machines from china instead... on another thread.

I think the price is perfect.. Now I just need to come up with a grand or so just to buy machines. I think I need two of these and one of the other machines Cary is making too.
