    Dk problems

My craker is not cranking, the armiture seems to be off slightly and is giving me a lot of noise and a untrue needle ride has anyone else had this problem?

Pics would be handy.....Sounds like the "drive arm" isn't sitting correctly, and could have slipped forward, check it is sitting linear, also, throw an elastic band from one securing lug (the screws on the side) up over the top of the a-bar, and onto the other screw, like a saddle, see if this helps and check the rear pivot of the a-bar is nice and tight, wth not much "play"...Have you had it for long....?

Skinmech's idea works. You may also want to try a rubber band from the back binding post to just under the a-bar (back to front). My drive bar was a little loose and making a rattling noise when the machine pointed downward. Tried this and it is almost silent and running smooth now.

Is it a new machine, or have you had it for a while.....Or was it a trade...

About 30-50 hours I have tightened and there is very little wear on the parts I think it's a milling problem
