    First attempts with Prismacolor pencils

    These are my first attempts using Prismacolour pencils on Bristol Board, Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks for looking

    Nice work,i just think the blood should have been darker, it seems to light to be blood. my 2 cents

    If you use pencils from dark to light & then work them back from light to dark it blends colors real well. It just smooths color transitions out.

    very cool man. i layer the shit out of my color pencil stuff. u can also dull colors out with the grey color pencils and it works really nice.

    Thank you for the feedback everyone! Looking at the blood now I can see that it needs to be darkened, doesn't pop enough.
    As for the dark to light tips, I look forward to giving it a go and seeing the results, I have generally worked just dark to light but found the mid tones difficult too blend through.

    you can also use marker under layers for contrast, etc.
