    Just registered.

    Hello all!

I was referred to this site by David who makes the 'Old Timer' machines.

I am completely new to rotary's, to be honest I'm a big fan of the magnetic coil machines & I never saw much point in a rotary.

I have many friends who use the machines for dot pattern work & after seeing some of David's builds I am now going to give them a go.

I shall spend some time these next few days browsing the sections to see whats what.

Just wanted to say a hello & introduce myself.

    Thanks!

    JD (sims)

sweet I'm on the same boat, I used coil exclusively and cut springs, sodered and assembled my machines. I want to figure out this "no give" shading with DD, goes against what coil knowledge sort of

    but HI!
