I'm a former tattoo shop owner, but mostly do cosmetic and medical work now. Too much drama in owning a shop :-)

I've used coil machines for 15 years now, but recently purchased the FK Irons Spektra Halo. I have 3 of them in the 3.2.

I have to say, they pretty much rock ! I recently did some breast work on a lady who was burned from the waste up when she was a child. I'll see if I can figure out how to post those pics under the right forum. The color flew in her skin using a 7 mag at about 6.5 volts. She said she had light flaking during the healing process, yay!

Did all my research on this forum before buying the Spektra. Thanks for all the honest reviews you guys gave.

So what do you do now when not owning a shop? Still work in one?

Still tattooing, but not in a traditional shop. Since I'm doing cosmetic and medical stuff, it's more of a private studio where I see clients. Yes, I'm licensed.
