Sith painting in progress. Anyone else painting tonight?

Something I am working on tonight. I wish more tattoo artists painted, I have a tough time getting my crew to do art outside of tattooing. I know of no way to get better at the craft then to study and practice.
Just my thought of the evening.

That looks pretty awesome. Are you gonna put a glow around the saber and the lightning?

The light saber needs some work yet. I'm not happy with it yet at all. I'm working on the ground now, I'll get back up to the saber in a bit.
I'll be looking for your thread in a min...

I would take the same color as the saber and go around it and do a "transparent" glow kinda solid around the saber. Leave about a 1/8-1/4" around it and paint that bright white. Could do the same thing with the lightning. Bright white lighting with a blue glow.

Looks great so far tho.

Another painting note: watercolor and gouache on 140lb watercolor paper. Done while drinking Crown Royal with Darth Vader ice cubes, listing to the audio book "Darth Bane, Path of Destruction" for mood.
