Yeah just a little bend near the solder is all I've needed - and artist in my studio does that and if any problem he puts a good old elastic band on - problem solved.

I use only disposables, and I have the silicone tubing but used a ruuber grom today, and yeah I stuck an elastic band on too lol.. I figure the bishop is best for black and grey.. and maybe lining... I would like to line with one greyshade with the other

Your grommet may be a little tall. Plastic tubes can bend a little in the stem if you gorilla grip the thumb screw. Different tubes and trying paper towel or another shape of grommet can help. This is a minor flaw in linear machines with a clip. The precision the machine is designed at will not jive with the lack of precision in needle bars, solder points, grommets and tube tips/stems.

A little bend at the eye and a little bend at the solder i have seen work for some in the past. But have also seenbit solved using paper towel over grommets.

If i remember right,I have seen franco use paper towels in several pics.I simply turn my mags over on clip machines-with maybe a small forward bend at the solder joint if needed depending on the tubetip setup. I use papertowels,or verythin back groms or tubing.
On liners I put in the standard way but a very slight curve at the top of the bar and a very slight bend at solder joint and use the same grom etc as mags. If you have to much bend it will pop up the needle in the tube tip.
this is what works for me.
