Hi guys, My name's Lockwood. Been on here for a few months now, I'm sure most of you've seen a couple of my long-winded posts . I've never been into forums much at all before joining this one. So I guess I'm not real aware of forum etiquette but I read a couple comments about intro's and figured I'd better post this. This site has been a bit of a game changer for me. I'm still in my 1st year tattooing - about ten months now full-time professionally. I'd only been using rotaries for the last few months before signing up here and I feel that I've gained a wealth of information and had a lot of my questions answered here. So I'd like to say Thank You!

I graduated from Columbia College Chicago w/ a Bachelor's of Fine Arts back in '98 (Yes I'm 37). Ever since I got serious about art I kinda wanted to be a Tattoo Artist. Tattoo shops were the first places I "applied" to so to speak, hence I didn't get off to a very good start . I never did the things I needed to do in order to make it happen due in equal part to circumstances and a lack of determination. Well 3 yrs ago I finally started a long hard path toward tattooing. Still having to overcome what were now even more adverse circumstances, I was now armed w/ determination! It took me a good while, but I'm here now! I feel that I have a good deal of potential and a lot to offer; only time will tell whether I actually make something of it before I get too old and shrivel up . It's been nice meeting all of you.

Most sincerely,
-Lockwood
