Initial Use of Inkjecta

Hi again guys and girls.
I just got my Inkjecta in and upon initial use, am i supposed to lube it? It sounds a bit stiff, or maybe thats just how a rotary is supposed to sound? Any recommendations on power supplies (in the USA) rather than this one?

Those PS have low amperage they will make most rotaries/ coils run like crap or not run at all.
