EZ v2 pen

Anybody know what part opens on the EZ v2 pen.Can hear the motor trying so think the spring could have gone?.Just guessing but want to get it open.Also be good to see whats inside there.

I have the same problem. I can't for the life of me get that thing open. I've tried the whole electrical tape and vise with a wrench. I'm guessing they use a shitload of loctite and I'm going to need a heat gun
