Don't trade away those coil machine frames, The Cartridge rotary conversion turns your coil machine frame into a high performance rotary tattoo machine.

We have been working on this project with Seth for some time now and it's finally ready for release. This Cartridge setup bolts to a coil machine frame of your choice and requires you to only run the positive lead to an insulated contact on your existing frame. In most cases, the original coil machine contact can be used and fixing the Cartridge to the frame can be done in minutes. This requires no modification to the coil machine frame and can be swapped back to original if so desired.

They should be available in a week or so and will start at $250.00 in raw aluminum and can be polished or tricked out for an additional fee depending on what is requested.

The original prototype was hand milled out of Delrin by myself, the production model is CNC milled out of aircraft aluminum and uses Workhorse Irons drivetrain and parts.

Here are some pictures of the original prototype installed on one of Seths MicroZeis Frames.

I will post pictures of a finished production machine in polished aluminum shortly.

Dust off your old coil machine frames, the Cartridge #1, the first production machine is now available.. This one is polished to a mirror finish and very difficult to photograph..

The first $250.00 + $10.00 shipping takes it..

I have to say that this is a great idea, so much so that I can see this being used for a lot of old machines that may just not have the right "feel" to them. But I have to ask, what if you have odd or oddly spaced coil holes in a frame how would you be able to mount this to the frame? What are the dimensions so that we could measure a frame to be sure it will fit before ordering.

The bottom of the Cartridge is slotted with 2 8-32 nuts in the track, you can move the nuts to match any spacing of the holes on the frame.. The Cartridge itself measures 42.5mm long, I fitted it to one of the smallest coil frames available so I am pretty confident it will work with almost any coil frame out there..
