Nice! T-techs or hawk tips? Or both?

Nedz
02-01-2013, 11:47 AM
It will take both Hawk and T-Tech cartridges and the motor separates from the body so it can be autoclave.

First batch will be red and black and only come with RCA as I dont think it will be possible to do a clip cord and still have a clean look.

Dimensions are 22mm grip - 28mm body section over all length 135mm

Price will be £295

sweet... keep the clean look, and let people ad a clip cord converter if they want to..

coming to think of it, I don't think I've seen a RCA to Clip cord converter before. Only the opposite.

It would be nice if you could do a fully disposable setup for this..

artoftatt2

The machine comes in three parts the as follow :

Motor body
Holds the the motor and wiring to the RCA.

Main body
Holds the plunger mechanism.

Grip
Screws to the main body and allows you to adjust amount of needle hanging out.
The grip will be 22mm diameter to start but probably come in 25mm and 28mm as well.

You will be able to autoclave the grip and main body if needed.

I'm excited it will push the hawk carts. I had a stylus and it just didn't have any power.

Well I am getting interested. I can't wait to hear all the specs. It looks like one of the first cartridge machines that has the right idea. It is sleek, simple and easy to clean. Looks like an ergonomic marker. Looks like you are on the right track.

Pictures are on face book if you can't see the links but I have taken the photos with my iPhone sorry could not wait.

I am using the Faulhaber 17x17 12 volt motor.

weight should be between 150g and 170g depending on the grip size you choose.

Not to say that there won't be a difference, but I am asking what the difference will be between this machine & the Stylus H or S. I don't have a Stylus or know anybody involved w/ Stylus, I am just wondering. Obviously the grip is different.

johndameart

that thing is a pretty good looking size :) i figered it would of been bulky and akward to hold from the original pictures but i was wrong, i want to try it out :)

Exactly my question too. I am wondering if there will be a slight amount of set give maybe. I am also curious if the larger 1724 Faulhaber would maybe be an option.

It will run faster.. A lot faster than the stylus.. You get a little dampening from the cartridge spring..

Good luck getting this thing through airport security; it looks like James Bond's lightsaber. Or his dildo.

I'm totally stoked to try one of these. Loved the stylus, but it seemed to make me work alittle slower. This looks like that shouldn't be an issue.

BigGreg

Also is it adjustable stroke or fixed stroke? If fixed, what length is it?

Nedz
03-12-2013, 06:23 AM
Stroke length it set by the cam and will be 4mm as standard but I may supply 3mm and 5mm cams as well. You will be able to change your cam on the motor quite easily but a motor body with motor and cam will be only £85. So you will be able to adapt your machine to your style by changing the motor body which take a few seconds.

I would like to see some photos of it taken apart.
