Ok!. Any Idea who this is from?

top.jpgback.jpgside 2.jpgRight folks! Any ideas much appreciated, and the motor on the back says its SME Italy embossed around the perimeter! Mainly brass with an alloy body Looks nicer in the flesh lol. No idea how old it is but it runs very very quietly and hits like a hammer!

Cheer's Deakon, Much appreciated, thanks guys, Here is a few more pics, 'a bit crisper' Plus I spent an hr yesterday tinkering up the shed and made an rca adapter for it. Used an old contact screw and binding post that was knocking about for the brass mounting hardware. Suits it nicely!

So how does the armature bar work on that? It's hard to see in the picture, does it go thru the body and hinge behind it? In the photos it looks pretty short. I am wondering if it has a short throw. Damn cool either way.
