So what would be the optimum voltage for this machine? I have run it today at 3.7 volts to color in some tribal and it seemed to run fine. what have any other users noticed.

I use mine between 2.5 an 4.6 lowest being black and grey, middle area for lining and 4.6 to push a big big mag.

Ok cool, I just wanted to make sure I was not over powering the carbon axis. My coils run at about 5 volts, but the neotat I have runs 9 volts, so I'm all over the volt scale.

2.5 -4.6 is good advice, normal range of operation, You could run that machine all day at 7 volts and it wouldn't damage the machine but I couldn't say the same for the client.... You may get it up to 5v for some tasks, still well within the safety range for the machine... Have fun with that Axis....

Thanks for the volage lowdown Brian. I have been putting the carbon thru its paces at various voltages and I like to actually use it at about 4.7 for shading, and up to 5 for color packing, only used it onece so far for lining and that was at 5.3. So it's good to know that I was not over bolting the machine.
