Yea it's amazing how many artist I've met since I started tattooing that can't draw for shit. If I owned a shop there would be a daily 1 hour art class mandatory

^^^ That's a great idea, shop I worked at in Hollywood had monthly art contests. We would make up lotto slips with our cool secret ideas and put them in a jar any time we wanted. And we had another jar for the medium type. Not many rules but you had to follow guidelines and nothing that was larger than 16"x20"(x16"if it was 3D). Then we'd randomly draw a subject and a medium and it was due at the end of the month. At the end of deadline the pics would be hung(no signatures) and numbered. Votes from any random people that would wander in, customers to delivery guys, would be counted and the winner chosen. Then we'd pick the next ones...
Oh and the prizes were all the originals!!!
