Shorter tube stems will get rid of any sidewall/needlebar interaction when using the 5.5 adjustment which I only use to fill solid color.

I so wish the industry would reduce all overall tube length by 1/4 inch (or metal tube backstems by 1/4 inch) the standard is way to long because it was designed for coils... and even then i used to cut all my tubes 1/4 shorter to keep the rubber bands low ( which is easy to do on coils)... high rubber bands can pull the bar in at the top to much, lifting the mag needles off the flat tip surface on the other end.. and you loose ink flow... that is why I make such a big deal about where my rubber bands are lol.

I use metal blitz tubes from tatsoul and i wish they would ofter 2 lengths.. a 1/4 shorter back step option
